Purpose::Kalapuri Foundation was selected as Implementing Agency (IA) by Development
Commissioner – Handicraft, Ministry of Textile for the distribution of advanced
tool kits to 50 SC women artisans.
Impact: The event was conducted at Kolhapur on the
occasion of International Women’s Day and was graced by Mr. Aman Mittal
Sir(Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur) and Chhatrapati
Sambhajiraje (Member of Parliament).This distribution facilitated and eased the
current work process of our lady artisans and it helped us in achieving the
good finishing for our products. Also, it was the proud moment for us as we
launched our online store www.Kalapuri.com by the auspicious hands of
Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje. We provided the platform for our artisans to sell
their handicrafts on Kalapuri’s own digital platform.
