Purpose: To generate awareness among the Polytechnic students about the reach tradition of Indian Handicraft.
Impact: Women artisans form Traditional Jewellery CFC plant Yalgud demonstrated the making of traditional Kolhapuri Jewellery to the students of the Government Polytechnic, Kolhapur. Students were keenly interested in knowing about the history, tradition and importance of the traditional jewellery in Indian culture. The program was sponsored by the Development Commissioner of Handicraft (Ministry of Textile)
