Purpose: Participation in the Winter Carnival organized by the Inner-Wheel Club of Kolhapur.
Impact: Kalapuri introduced the Poly Propylene strip basket in the Winter Carnival. 25 women artisans are trained in the art of weaving the Poly Propylene strip baskets. These women artisans work from their homes at their leisure time and assist their families by earning handsome income. PP strip baskets received a overwhelming response from the customers.
